Nicole Romani is an Italian track and field athlete, who specializes in the high jump. Her personal best is 1.80m outdoor and 1.83m indoor.
Nicole Romani was born on November 4, 2000. She started in athletics at school and was noticed by the local coaches, who began working with her. She achieved amazing results winning plenty of regional championships.
Nicole Romani made her debut in 2015, winning the Modena U16 Event in the high jump with 1.65m.
In 2016, she competed in several regional championships in Italy, winning the gold at the Modena Regional Championships, Livorno Memorial Leonardo Trainni, Caorle Memorial Lucio Todini, and Modena Trofeo Goldoni – Benetti. She also won the silver at the Jesolo Italian U18 Championships. She achieved her personal best of 1.72m. During the indoor season, Nicole Romani won the gold at the Modena U18 Events and the silver at the Modena Regional Indoor Championships.
Nicole Romani debuted at a higher-level forum in 2017, competing at the Trieste Italian Championships. However, she failed to qualify for the final after 1.61m. During the season she won the gold at the Modena Regional Championships, Reggio Emilia U18 Event, and Vicenza Italian U18 Club Championships.
In 2019, she finished 6th at the Italian Championships in Bressanone with 1.75m. During the season she improved her personal best to 1.77m at the Trofeo Citta di Orvieto, where won the gold. She also was first at the Regional Championships in Serravalle, Modena, and Forli, as well as Regional Club Championships in Imola, Memorial Delio Salvucci, and Trofeo Crotti-Ruggeri. During the season, Nicole Romani won the bronze at the Italian U20 Championships.
In 2020, she won the silver medals at the Italian U23 Indoor Championships and Italian U23 Championships. Meanwhile, she won the Test Meeting in Parma and the Regional Championships in Piacenza, as well as Trefeo Crotti – Memorial Ruggeri. She improved her personal best to 1.80m.
Nicole Romani competed at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships in Tallinn, Estonia, but did not qualify for the final. During the season she won the silver at the Italian U23 Team Championships and bronze at the Italian U23 Indoor Championships.
In 2022, she continues competing at a high level, winning the gold at the Regional Championships in Parma and Trofeo Titano.
Nicole Romani improved again her personal best at the 2023 season, jumping 1.83m at the Meeting Assoluti Indoor 13° Manifestazione and winning the gold. She also finished the Italian Indoor Championships with a result of 1.82m but remained 4th.
