Klara Skriver Loessl is a Danish athlete, who competes in sprints and hurdles, but her biggest achievement are in the pole vault. She is one of the most talented young athletes in the country and is national medalist in the 100m hurdles and pole vault.
Klara Skriver Loessl was born on September 26, 2002. She started in athletics as a kid and competed in different events, but later specialized in sprints and pole vault.
Klara Skriver Loessl started her competitive career in 2016, competing in 100m at the Copenhagen Danish U16 Championships, where finished 5th in the final. In the next season, she already earned the silver at the Skive Danish U16 Indoor Championships in 60m, while during the summer season, won the 100m gold at the Hvidovre Danish U16 Championships. Meanwhile, she tried in pole vault, triumphing with the gold at the Hvidovre Danish U16 Championships and the silver at the Copenhagen Danish U16 Club Championships.
In 2018, Klara Skriver Loessl started the season wining the 60m hurdles silver and pole vault gold at the Skive Danish U18 Indoor Championships. During the outdoor season she had quite more significant achievements, winning the 100m silver at the Copenhagen Tarnby Games, Ballerup U18 Meeting, and Goteborg Varldsungdomsspelen, as well as the 100m gold at the Copenhagen Games. Klara Skriver Loessl earned her first senior national medal, winning the bronze in 100m hurdles at the Odense Danish Championships. Meanwhile, she made fantastic season in 100m hurdles, winning the gold at the Hvidovre Copenhagen Open, Goteborg Varldsungdomsspelen, and Copenhagen Games. Also had earned the pole vault gold at the Copenhagen Tarnby Games and Copenhagen Games.
Klara Skriver Loessl made another great season in 2019. At the Skive Danish Indoor Championships, she finished 6th in 60m and 4th in pole vault, while at the Danish U18 Indoor Championships earned the bronze in 60m and 60m hurdles, as well as the gold in pole vault and 4x200m relay. Meanwhile she earned the 60m silver at the Pallas Spelen and Goteborgs Inomhus, as well as pole vault silver at the Odense DT finale. However, her biggest achievement during the season was pole vault gold at the Leiria ECCC U20 Group A.
In 2020, the Danish athlete Klara Skriver Loessl won her second national senior medal, earning the pole vault silver at the Odense Danish Indoor Championships. She tried for the first time in combined events, winning the heptathlon bronze at the Kobenhavn Danish U20 Combined Events Championships. Meanwhile, she earned the pole vault gold and the 60m silver at the Danish U20 Indoor Championships.
Klara Skriver Loessl earned another pole vault silver in 2021 at the Arhus Danish Indoor Championships and pole vault bronze at the Odense Danish Championships. Thus, she debuted at premium international forum, competing at the Tallinn European Athletics U20 Championships, but finished9th in qualifications and did not reached the finals. A month later, she competed at the Nairobi World Athletics U20 Championships in 100m hurdles, but again failed to reach the finals. Meanwhile, Klara Skriver Loessl 100m hurdles bronze at the Skararacet in Sweden.
In 2022, she made more great achievements. During the indoor season, Klara Skriver Loessl earned the 60m bronze at Arhus Vintersprint, 60m hurdles silver at the Randers Indoor and 60m hurdles bronze at the Pallasspelen, as well pole vault bronze at the Skive Danish Indoor Championships. During the outdoor season, she earned the 100m silver at the Sparta Copenhagen Games, as well as 100m hurdles gold and 100m silver a the Copenhagen Athletics Festival. In pole vault, she earned the gold at the Sparta Copenhagen Games and bronze at the Skararacet, but also competed at the Espoo Motonet GP and Copenhagen Athletics Games, missing the medals for a while.
In 2023, Klara Skriver Loessl missed the indoor season and during the outdoor one competed only in sprints and hurdles. She finished 5th at the Aalborg Danish Championships and 8th at the Copenhagen Athletics Games in 100m. However, she earned the 4x100m relay silver at the Chorzow European Athletics Team Championships Second Division.
