Molly Caudery is a British athlete who competes in the pole vault event. She is a Commonwealth Games silver medalist and European U20 and U23 Championships silver medalist. Her personal best in the pole vault is 4.75m.
Molly Caudery was born on March 17, 2000, in Truro, England. She started in athletics at a young age but developed her skills at school.
Molly Caudery started her competitive career in 2015, winning the pole vault gold at the Birmingham UK Youth Development U20/U17 and Bedford England U17/U15 Championships, as well as the Manchester UK School Games, Cardiff Christmas Classic and Grangemouth SIAB Schools’ International. She also won the silver at the Hendon South of England Junior Championships.
In 2016, Molly Caudery overcame the 4-meter barrier and achieved a personal best of 4.06m, winning the gold at the Yeovil U17 Events. During the season, she triumphed also with the gold at the Sheffield England U20/U17/U15 Indoor Championships, Loughborough School Games, Gateshead English Schools’ Championships, and Loughborough International. She also debuted at the national championships, finishing 6th at the Birmingham UK Championships.
Molly Caudery had a great season, winning the silver at the Grosseto European U20 Championships. She also triumphed with the gold at the Bedford England U23/U20 Championships, Eton UK Women’s League, Birmingham English Schools Championships, and Sheffield England U20/U17/U15 Indoor Championships, as well as the bronze at the Loughborough International.
In 2018, Molly Caudery debuted at the major championship, competing at the Berlin European Athletics Championships but did not reach the final. She also competed at the IAAF World Indoor Tour’s Glasgow Muller Indoor Grand Prix, but missed the medals for a while, finishing 7th. During the season, Molly Caudery won her first national title, triumphing with the gold at the Birmingham UK Indoor Championships. She won the gold at the Bedford England U23/U20 Championships and Birmingham ECCC Group A. She competed at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games but finished 5th.
Molly Caudery made very weak seasons in 2019 and 2020 with her biggest achievement being the silver at the Welsh Senior Championships.
In 2021, Molly Caudery won the silver medals at the Tallinn European Athletics U23 Championships and Manchester British Championships. She also debuted at the Diamond League, finishing 5th at the Muller British GP. She also earned the bronze at the Chorzow European Athletics Team Championships Super League and Meeting Iberoamericano.
Molly Caudery won her most prestigious honor so far in 2022, winning the silver at the Birmingham XXII Commonwealth Games. She also earned the silver at the Muller UK Athletics Championships. During the season she also finished 7th at the Munich European Athletics Championships and competed at the Eugene World Athletics Championships. She also earned the gold at the Venizelia – Chania International Meeting, the silver at the Meeting Iberoamericano, and the bronze at the Filothei Women Gala.
Molly Caudery finished 5th at the 2023 Budapest World Athletics Championships. She competed at the Diamond League events at the London Athletics Meet and Weltklasse but missed the medals. however, during the season she earned the gold at the 59. Palio Citta’ della Quercia, International Pole Vault for Women, and UK Athletics Championships Manchester.
